Karoo adds personal heatmaps and Cycliq camera controls

Karoo software 1.652.2514, released on 3 September, adds personal heatmaps to the computer and web Dashboard, showing your historical SRAM rides to help plan routes. Unlike the existing community heatmap, this layer shows where you have ridden. Download it using the heat icon in Offline Maps, then enable it through the map-layer control, according to SRAM’s release notes.
The release also adds CycliqPlus to the Extension Library. Cycliq specifies third-generation Karoo compatibility with Fly12 Sport and Fly6 Pro cameras, offering battery monitoring, recording controls and footage locking, including actions assigned to SRAM AXS buttons.
Cycliq’s page still describes beta installation through the Companion app, while SRAM lists library availability. Check the current on-device listing before following older instructions. We have not installed the update or tested camera pairing; earlier Karoo models’ support for the extension is unconfirmed.
